The Higgins Hook is great for recycling, car and boat. Review by Kristen
I am excited about my Higgins Hooks. We have 3 of them. The best part is it has made the undesirable task of taking out the recycling so much better. I don't hurt my back or worry about getting dirty any more. Now, my kids ( 8 and 6) take care of the recycling. It makes it fun and easy for them.
We keep the other ones in our car and boat. Now all our friends have at least one! (Posted on 9/25/09) -
I use this every day! Review by Fran
I first used this to haul out the recycling bin. What a relief not to have to bend over to pick up a loaded bin! Then I realized there were many occasions when the Higgins Hook came in handy: reaching for anything in hard to get places as well as dragging heavy things without having to pick them up. A true back-saver. I keep one in the pantry, one in the garage and one on my boat (for snagging things out of the water and docking). It's hard to believe something so simple is so great. Very versatile tool Review by Pookie
Every car trunk, SUV and truck bed should have one. Can't reach those items that shift to the front? The Higgins Hook makes their retrieval easy. (Posted on 9/15/09)

Now on, Higgins hauls around my boxes of magazines and books Review by Mary Sue
I bought the cardboard storage boxes with cut-out handles, thinking that's the smart way to keep and schlepp around my magazines and files. Have any idea how much those boxes weigh when full of paper?? I don't want a bad back, so when I saw the Higgins Hook, I had to have it. Now, lugging the boxes out (as well as my other stored items, like the kids' books) is easy as pie! The hook slips right into the handle. I just pull the box out of the closet and along the floor, over to a table where I can sit down and rummage. Love it, love it! And I'm not the only one. Hubby wanted to drag out a branch that had fallen a few feet out into our lake. It was just out of reach and slimy to boot. I said why not use your fishing pole? He gave me a look, then asked where the Higgins Hook was. It's a good thing we've got 2! What a great invention! (Posted on 9/15/09)

Great value Review by Poolgirl
When everyone is out of the pool and we "need" the goggles out of the way of our creepy crawler, we just grap our Higgins Hook and fish them out! Easy as 1-2-3. We also use it to lift the the lid off our drain return, never know if Mr. Snake is waiting. Love the fact we don't have to get to close to find out! (Posted on 9/14/09)

We use ours almost everyday. Review by The Heuers
I knew the hook would come in handy when we got it but now that we have in our home and on our boat we find more and more uses for it all the time. (a real "must have" if you own a pool or a boat!) (Posted on 9/14/09)

VERY versatile tool Review by Giraffeman
I own several of these tools and I continue to find additional uses every day:
Pick-up truck bed- pull items back that have slid to the front.
In ground pool- I can easily retrieve the vacuum hose and the Polaris hose, pull out the skimmer baskets to empty them, and hold up the lid to the storage bin.
Garage: Drag the recycling bins to the curb, reach items that slid to the front of the cadillac trunk or the front of the SUV, and retrieve items that have rolled under one of the vehicles.
RV: drag items out from the middle of the basement storage.
Ski Boat: retrieve skis from the water, retrieve ski ropes, retrieve ski jackets, and hats or towels that have blown out of the boat.
Every household should have at least two of these tools and will probably need more after they find out how handy they really are!! (Posted on 9/13/09) -
What a lifesaver! Review by Laura
I love my Higgins Hook! My whole family uses the Hook. The kids actually like to pull the recycling bins to the curb, which means I don't have to do it! I use it a lot in the garden when pulling weeds and cleaning beds. I can just pull my yard waste container around with me as I go instead of constantly bending over to pick it up as it gets heavier and heavier. I usually use two Hooks so I can pull twice the load and make just one trip. I'm always finding new ways that the Hook can help me! (Posted on 9/11/09)
